Autoblogging is the concept of generating content for your site automatically. This means you are not out creating content yourself, uploading it and posting it to your site, searching for pictures, videos and affiliate products – it’s all done on auto pilot for you.
Autoblogging is a time and money saver if you want to create a lot of sites that earn an income for you.
First things first
Autoblogs will not make you a millionaire. They will save you time though. You need to be realistic about your monetary expectations from your blog. I operate on the principle that if a blog makes me five bucks a day I’m happy. Some blogs make more some make less.
You need to decide on the monetization method for your blog. You should always do your research first to see if there are products that people are buying in your niche and affiliate products for you to promote.
You need to install WordPress on your own domain and hosting account. WordPress has built in rss integration and this is needed if you are going to gather content from the web and publish it on your own site.
You will need to use an autoblogging plugin. There are free and paid versions of these plugins. If you are on a budget you can try Feed WordPress or WP Omatic. Obviously, the paid autoblogging plugins have more features and functionalities than the free ones.
Once you use an autoblogging plugin you will find that you have a site that is constantly updated with fresh content and affiliate products.
In order to separate your blog from the hundreds of autoblogs you need to do some work. By just doing some basic seo and using SEO plugins like Headspace2 you can greatly improve your blog. This only takes a few more minutes but can give you great results.
One of the best things about autoblogging is that once you have set it up it truly is hands free. Provided you have done your niche and keyword research beforehand it should take you less than 30 minutes to be up and running. I’d encourage you to spend some of that time you have left over to do some link building and add some unique content to your autoblog to make it a more valuable piece of virtual real estate.
